The aim is to establish an organised platform for our colleagues to give and attend talks which are broadly related to each other. Topics discussed at previous conferences can be found at the Dagstuhl homepage, the MCQMC 2010 conference, the FOCM’08 conference, the Uniform Distribution Theory conference, the Discrepancy Workshop in Varenna, and others (this list is of course biased and not complete). In effect we will have our own miniconference within ICIAM by arranging a series of minisymposia. I may point out though that none of the above mentioned including myself is in any way part of the ICIAM conference organisation itself.
A range of deadlines are provided already on the ICIAM homepage, see here or here. We will ask for expressions of interest in attending our minisymposia series in due course. You are welcome to send me (or any of the other organisers) an email or write a comment below to express your wish to attend our minisymposia.
The due date for submitting a minisymposium proposal is August 18, 2010. Well before that time we need to have the following information (the information below is copied from here):

Deadline August 18, 2010 To submit a minisymposium proposal, an organizer needs to have the following information available:
> contact information for each organizer: name, affiliation, street address, phone, and email.
> Minisymposium Title
> Minisymposium Description (100 words maximum)
> Titles of speaker talks
> Contact information for each speaker: name, affiliation, street address, phone, and email.
Please note the last two items, since they need to be provided to us by each speaker.

Deadline December 19, 2010 To submit talk information and “join” the correct minisymposium, speakers need to have the following information available:
Password provided by organizer
Personal contact information: name, affiliation, street address, phone, and email.
Title of talk
Co-author names, affiliations and email addresses
Talk summary (abstract)
